Fresh Fields edit is coming, it has been a challenge to work on, mostly a winter camping edit and not a ski edit (only had one day of fun in the sun) so stay tuned.
Kevin Hjertaas took me on a walk first weekend of May though up Mt. Narao. Its a breath taking spot and a great ski, I don’t think we could have had much better conditions. Stability wise, it was great, weather wise, it was great, the only thing that is hard about these missions is the 4:00 am wake up call. Enjoy:

I don’t think I’d want here to walk away from me, but I’d still kinda enjoy it.
So, the thunder cougar falcon hawks are assembled at my golden abode gearing up to depart bright and early tomorrow for the Fresh Fields. Plan is to hop a bird in, tour to our camping zone, set up camp and then ski a bit and get a feel for what the snow is doing and how we’re feeling. The next five days we have to explore and ski a number of lines, and it’s looking like we are going to be blessed with some high pressure sunburning weather Saturday and Sunday! You’d be hard pressed to find a group of more enthused young men and Kevin then who we have hanging out here.
